LiLash Progress

As promised in my earlier post, here is my progress on using Lilash for almost two and a half months:

 I'm happy to report that the product actually delivered! The results are amazing, my lashes are noticeably longer and I now go out sans the mascara! I've also noticed less lash breakage. I still have two more weeks to go, so I can't wait to see the end results!

Maybe I'll get the LiBrow too, you know, to rock those thick eyebrows that are sooo in right now.

The Beauty Department

Lauren Conrad along with her two beauticians (hair and makeup artists Kristin Ess and Amy Nadine) launched a new blog that's all about...wait for it..wait for it......BEAUTY! (hope you guessed right)

The Beauty Department offers tutorials, how to's, advice and the latest trends in hair, skin and makeup. It looks promising and I'm so loving the pretty layout and design!

Sunshine In a Bottle

A few years back I started using Clarin's After Sun Moisturizer to maintain my hard earned tan..it smelled heavenly and really lifted my mood whenever i got a whiff of it on my skin! Unfortunately I stopped using it cause I haven't been under the sun since then, but the other day while at the Clarins counter, i jumped with joy after discovering this!!

It's the same fragrance used in their after sun line! Great scent for summer. Trust.

I Got Ombre'd

A few weeks before my appointment I had reservations about taking such a bold step color wise, for years now I have been on a "highlights + any form of blonde streaks" ban. At the end, my rebellious side got the better of me and I went through with it..end result? LOVES IT!! And no I will not show you pics, instead you can feast your eyes on these celebrities rocking the ombre look :P

Sweet Buns

My signature hairstyle is the top knot bun, but lately I have been wanting to experiment with different bun styles, and thanks to a cup of jo, this cute hairstyle with the 3 mini buns will be my new thing!

1.Divide your hair into three equal parts and quickly spray each section with a little hairspray to help give it hold. Let the hairspray set for a couple seconds, and then lightly comb it out.

2. Take the section on your right side, and twist your hair all the way down to the end. You want to twist counter-clockwise, toward your face. Wrap the right section in on itself, just like you're making a little bun. Let some of the hair stick out, it's ok (you don't want them to look like Princess Leia buns).

3. Pin the right bun in place. 

4. Next, twist the middle section clockwise and pin. Then twist the left section clockwise and pin.

5. Spray the three buns with a little more hairspray, and you're done!

LiLash

I have been toying with the idea of semi permanent lash extensions for some time but was advised against it. Instead someone suggested I try LiLash, which promises to elongate lashes within 4-6 weeks and delivers amazing results.
